About the Teacher
My name is Miss. Khan and I've been a Grade 2 teacher at Learning Junior Public School for the past 5 years. I am very thrilled to be a part of this school and I am looking forward to teaching and also learning new and exciting things each and every year.
My Teaching Philosophy:
Education to me is not just learning inside a classroom with textbooks and instructions, rather it also includes learning from experiences, whether they be from the past or new ones that have yet to be created. I strongly believe that learning is most effective when students are involved as much as possible. Only in this way, will they truly understand what is being taught since they would have the opportunity to relate back to what they already know. I would like to end off with a quote by Benjamin Franklin which represents my views on teaching:
“Tell me and I forget. Teach me and I remember. Involve me and I learn.”
